Grosche Milano Stovetop Espresso Maker

Grosche Milano Stovetop Espresso Maker

Upgrade your home brew with a classic Italian stovetop espresso maker designed for today’s coffee lover.

The aluminium Milano Moka Pot is made from durable, food-safe aluminum and is perfect for making strong coffee, lattes and cappuccinos at home or while camping.

The Milano is the only stovetop coffee maker that features a burn guard on the grip to protect your fingers from touching hot surfaces.

In addition, it also features a ‘Made in Italy’ certified safety valve that prevents internal pressure from increasing to a dangerous point.

NOTE: This stovetop is for use on gas and electric stovetops, as well as propane stovetops. NOT suitable for induction stovetops.

Milano Stovetop features:

  • Classic Italian-design stovetop espresso maker
  • Comes dual-branded with the Grosche and Merlo logo.
  • Extracts more caffeine and flavours compared to other methods, resulting in a stronger, richer brew
  • Made from light and durable aluminum
  • Certified Italian safety valve, prevents internal pressure from increasing to a dangerous point
  • The only stovetop espresso maker on the market that features a burn guard on the grip to protect your fingers from touching hot surfaces
  • Available in 3-cup (150ml) and 6-cup (275ml).

How to make a Stovetop Espresso Coffee

  • Firstly remove the top part and the filter funnel of the coffee maker.
  • Fill the lower chamber with cold fresh water until right below the safety valve. Make sure not to fill past the safety valve.
  • Then fill the filter funnel with freshly ground espresso coffee.
  • Once that’s done, put the filter funnel back into the lower chamber of the Milano and screw the top part back on tightly.
  • Next, put the Milano on your stove on a low/medium flame setting.
  • Turn the stove down when coffee bubbles up from the filter funnel and into the upper section. When the gurgling sound stops, this indicates that the coffee is ready.
  • Finally, remove the Milano from your stovetop and serve. You can drink the coffee as a strong, flavorful espresso or use as a base for a cappuccino or latte.
